The unique AirPacks System
helps you tote today's loads more comfortably and safely.
The patented ergonomic transfer system redistributes weight
from the shoulders to the hips and lower back, promoting an
upright standing posture. Proper posture reduces muscle
strain in the upper body that can cause head and neck aches,
muscle spasms, and tingling in the hands from incorrectly
carrying too much weight. A properly fitted AirPacks backpack
enhances the body's natural ability to carry weight,
reducing stress on the body up to 80% and lightening the
effective load up to 50%.
Developed with orthopedic
professionals, the AirPacks System has been tested by Boston
University's Neuromuscular Research Center, Oklahoma State
University's Health and Human Performance Department and
Northeastern University's Physical Therapy Department.
The AirPacks System is
clinically proven and doctor recommended.
Start with a proper fit
Step 1. Using your height or
back length measurement, choose the pack that best fits your
body.
Step 2. Inflate or deflate
(unplug nozzle and squeeze) the lumbar cushion as needed for
comfort.
Step 3. Load the pack
(heaviest items toward the back) being careful not to exceed
the recommended pack weight for your size.
Step 4. Cinch the side straps
to bring the load closer to your center of gravity.
Step 5. Adjust the shoulder
straps at the top so that the lumbar cushion rests at the
small of your back. Try a few different adjustments until
you find the optimal positioning.
